A lot of Canadians are concerned about their pension, health care and other aspects of their retirement, according to a new poll.
About half said they worry about it at least somewhat, according the Nanos Research poll, which was conducted from January 8 to February 1.
About a quarter said they’re not too concerned about it.
“I am very concerned about the state of the economy, and I am concerned about what’s happening to my pension,” said one person interviewed for the poll.
“In the long term, I think we’re going to need to see the government doing more to help the people who have invested in our retirement system, like our pensioners.”
The poll was conducted online and over the phone by Nanos for the Global Financial Post.
