Seven-year old Dylan K. Fenton died Saturday after being hit in the back with a shotgun by two men near the intersection of Spadina Avenue and Bathurst Street in Toronto.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:40 p.m.
He had been playing with a friend on the sidewalk when the men shot him.
Fentons family is still waiting to receive the results of an autopsy.
Police said there are no charges pending against the two men.
Kory Fenton said his son was in the middle of a conversation with a relative when the shotgun was fired.
FENTONS FAMILY: We are devastated by the loss of our son Dylan Fenton.
He will be deeply missed by everyone.
